"Bell City"
This photo was taken in downtown Ann Arbor. It's a bell tower on the Michigan University campus. I thought that this would be a good picture of very stout architecture and it would make a good blueprint. It also kind of reminded me of the hunchback of Notre Dame because he lived in Notre Dame doesn't have a clock, but has a similar structure and also has bells. It reminded me of how he kind of lived in the shadows of the building, so I made the top clock part darker so that you wouldn't be able to see anyone inside.
"Building a building"
This picture was also taken in downtown Ann Arbor, and was actually pretty close to the bell tower. I took a picture of this because I thought it would make a good blueprint because of all the bricks and all the detail on the building. I also thought that this looked a lot like somewhere a student might take classes or go to study. Although the building is not very colorful and is kind of monotone, I think that it looks very professional and is very fitting for the location. Even though it's at Michigan, it made me think of Brown because the building is brown hence the name.
"Oddly enough"
This is a parking structure located downtown. The reason I chose this spot is because I thought that it was a very interesting building. I also like it because it's a lot different and more creative than a normal parking structure. It kind of make me think if like people thought the person who designed it was crazy. I also like it because you can kind of decide what you think it is because it can look like one thing to one person and another thing to another person. I also like how there's the colors are vibrant and strong.
"Blue Brick Inc."
This picture is also taken in the downtown Ann Arbor area. I took this picture because I thought it was another good structure to take a picture of to turn into a blueprint. It sort of reminds me of an office building, and how they are kind of secluded. It kind of makes me think how they are so close, but the inside and outside life are totally different. So I was showing the view of the outside life.
"High Bridge"
This photo is also taken in downtown Ann Arbor. This is the side of a building there, and I thought that the brick would make a good blueprint. I also like how the light reflected off the wall. I think that its cool how the light starts in one corner and then it gets darker. I think it also sort of can represent a shining light in a world of darkness.
